Levels Of Care For A Short-Term Stay
Respite Care offers short-term/temporary relief to help with the responsibilities of family caregiving, can improve family stability, and reduce the risk of abuse or neglect. Respite can be pre-planned or offered during emergencies, times of crisis, or after rehab, therapies, surgeries, and more.
Respite Care residents typically need daily hands-on care for ambulation, have occasional incontinence, and some physical assistance with activities of daily living.
Advanced Respite Care includes daily hands-on care for non-ambulatory residents with incontinence care, may be a high fall-risk or require additional care for behavioral reasons, and require physical assistance with most activities of daily living.
