A Mission Born From Personal Experience
Shelley’s journey into home care began with a life-changing experience. As a young Army medic, she survived a devastating accident that required years of recovery. During that time, she experienced firsthand how meaningful compassionate support can be for patients and families navigating difficult health challenges.
That experience inspired Shelley to create something meaningful for others facing similar challenges. In 1996, at just 21 years old, she founded Wilson Homecare. What began with one nurse and a powerful vision has grown into a trusted organization serving individuals and families across Oʻahu.
Today, Wilson Care Group provides a wide range of services including in-home care, skilled nursing, and residential senior living support, all designed to help individuals maintain independence, health, and dignity in the place they call home.

For nearly three decades, Shelley has led Wilson Care Group with a simple but powerful belief:
